Nelda Lee receives 2011 Distinguished Alumni Award from Webster University
 Dear friends......... Many times surprises come our way and we are truly grateful and humbled and hopefully always encouraged. Well back in September such a surprise came my way. I attended the 2011 Webster University Alumni Celebration Gala event along with 160 other alumni and guests and trustees. It was very special. I was honored with the 2011 Distinguished Alumni Award. It was one of four awards presented last evening along with the Young Alumni Award, Loretto Award, and Mary Elizabeth Newell Loyalty Award. Boeing has published the attached article about the event. In the gala event booklet, the following info was provided: The Distinguished Alumni Award is the highest award given by the Alumni Association. This annual award is presented to an alumna or alumnus who has made specific, meritorious contributions to society through his or her profession and involvement in civic, cultural or charitable activities. This award recognizes high achievement that reflects credit upon the individual and Webster University. I obtained my Masters Degree at Webster University in the late 90's as part of the Boeing Learning Together Program and am very thankful to Boeing for providing this learning opportunity for me. I thought you all would want to know this because the LTP gave me the opportunity to further my education and better my career and never stop learning. Thank you Boeing.
